WGLT FM is a 25,000 watt listener supported radio station located in Normal, Illinois. The GLT broadcast signal covers much of central Illinois, west to Peoria, north to Pontiac, east to Champaign, and south to Springfield, covering a total population area of over 400,000. Formats include National Public Radio news, award winning local news and the most jazz and blues between Chicago and St. Louis. GLT is staffed by broadcast, development and management professionals.
GLT receives funding from several sources: 47% from listeners and businesses, 23% from state and federal grants, and 30% from Illinois State University.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
Contribute to the media relations efforts
· Write press releases for distribution to media throughout

· Update and maintain a list of all local media contacts
· Contact media regarding upcoming activities and special events
· Submit article ideas to The ISU Report
· Maintain GLT bulletin board and scrapbook
FUND RAISING
Help plan and implement Fall/Spring on-air fund raising campaigns
· Help schedule volunteers
· Help with direct mail fundraising
· Help plan and execute member appreciation events

Participate in planning and execution of special events

· Summer Recycled Music Sale

MARKETING
Market GLT in general and market GLT activities and events
