Webster’s Dictionary defines Laura Kennedy as GLT's morning jazz host and arts editor. She claims to be highly accomplished i.e, she spent her childhood playing the piano (but never learning to read music), tap dancing (but only on her toes because she actually wanted to do ballet) and memorizing the first Star Wars movie. Related to two U.S. Presidents, Kennedy appalled her family by going into show business.
When not spinning jazz discs in the master control studio, Kennedy stays out of trouble by reporting on the local arts scene, writing and producing podcasts and being the Dean of Green wrangler. Frighteningly pale, Kennedy tends to sizzle if left in the sun too long.
In her spare time Kennedy nurtures her worrisome passion for cashmere and sits slack-jawed in front of the television watching Turner Classic Movies.
