When:
The third week of August every year
Where: Wherever we can find a big bright storefront that we can rent for free
It's GLT's annual celebration of all things musical, gently used and bargain priced to sell fast and raise money for the GLT Equipment Fund.
All year long we gather donated LPs, CDs, cassettes, stereo equipment, sheet music and instruments. Then the GLT staff and volunteers spend a solid couple of weeks sorting, organizing and displaying musical treasures, in every conceivable category.
Finally, we open the doors and let the fun begin. Collectors, bargain hunters and pop culture devotees flock to this sale. And almost every one leaves with a bag or even a box or two full of musical treasures. At the 2008 sale, LP's were just $1, CD's just $3 and mountains of great used stereo equipment ranged from $5 to $50.
