Student employment at WGLT includes positions in broadcast journalism, on-air announcing, and clerical areas. Applicants must be registered for at least six hours of Illinois State University courses, and must be pursuing a full-time degree. Undergraduate Internship Opportunities
WGLT and WGLT.org, Bloomington-Normal’s public media and a service of Illinois State University’s School of Communication, offers the following unpaid internship opportunities during Illinois State’s fall, spring, and summer terms. Internships are typically worth 1 to 3 credit hours depending on the number of hours worked, pending academic advisor approval.
Outstanding students who successfully complete an internship with WGLT may be considered for part-time paid employment.
