"Haileigh Eichorn last seen alive on Sunday April 28th 2013 and on Tuesday May 7th, Haileigh Eichorn's body was discovered in rural Stanford," said Mayer.

Mayer says officers are still trying to make the case less cold.

"Our detectives are still looking for more information about the days and hours that led up to the death of Hail;eigh Eichorn and they are appealing in the public who may have information to come forward," said Mayer.

At the time the McLean County Coroner said Eichorn died from an assault.
