Bloomington High School presents the classic musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Directed by Miranda Buob, herself a graduate of the school, the show is heavy on tradition.
- Opening March 9, the show runs on the 10th and 11th at 7 PM in the Bloomington High School Auditorium.
- Director Miranda Buob stressed the importance of tradition to her actors as they rehearsed the show, since it's not only a great show stopping number, but a core theme in the musical.
- The characters in the show are forced to become refugees at the end of the show, which Buob related to current world events to help her cast relate those who are uprooted from a place and from people they love. The show provides a great chance for self-reflection and emotional grow.
