As the kids polish their lists to Santa this year, the dogs, cats and other furry and feathered creatures at the Humane Society of Central Illinois have a list of their own.
- The annual Humane Society of Central Illinois supply drive is currently underway.
- Bins are placed, for your convenience, at local supermarkets, like Schnucks and Jewel, plus Tractor Supply Company, so you can donate some much needed supplies to the HSCI.
- While food is appreciated, it's not what's really needed. Madonna Courtright, Director of Development, revealed that it's cleaning supplies that top the supply wish list. Bleach is incredibly useful, as are paper towels, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and antibacterial soap.
- Donations will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 31.
