The McLean County Museum of History says a former Bloomington Mayor, a historic preservationist, civil rights activists, and a community volunteer are all history makers.
The annual awards this year go to former Mayor Jesse Smart, educators and civil rights workers Charles and Jeanne Morris, Judy Stone who helped found branches of Amnesty International and Habitat for Humanity, and Craig Hart who co-founded Heritage Enterprises and worked to preserve downtown Bloomington.
The history makers will be honored at a gala in June.
