The Normal Theater could see an upgrade to its lighting system, allowing it to be used for more live performances and community events. The town council will consider spending $57 thousand on the energy efficient upgrade for the venue.

They'll also examine a site plan for a remodel of Grossinger Motors at Fort Jesse Road and Towanda Avenue, which will feature additional sales floor space, lighting, parking spaces, and landscaping.

The council will also vote on spending $1.5 million of motor fuel taxes on resurfacing sections of 14 roads in the community. The project, which is part of the budget approved by the council in March, will take care of a third of the $4.6 million budgeted for streets listed as top priority. The priorities are based on a list generated by the council in January.
