Get involved with GLT

Volunteers are a critical component of GLT's success. 100's of listeners recognize that and so choose to spend a little time (or a lot) helping with fund drives, events and other activities. And they have a lot of fun along the way. Join them right now and you too will get to meet public radio fans like yourself, catch a glimpse behind the scenes at your favorite station, hang out with the generally likeable GLT staff and be there ringside at our legendary events.

Ways to get involved:

GLT Pledge Phone Volunteers: Volunteer to come to the station and answer pledge phones during our spring and fall fund drives. All you need is a friendly voice and a couple of free hours. Most people take one or more two hour shifts. Since we take pledges from early to late there's bound to be a shift (or two) that works for you. Fund drives are in October and April fo each year.

GLT Special Events : From helping to sort donations and/or staffing our Recycled Music Sale held every August to working with GLT staff at concerts, festivals and other events, there is ample opportunity to make a difference.

Friends of GLT Council : Both an advisory board and a fundraising body, the Friends Council works closely with GLT staff on achieving short term and long term financial goals.
