Potato kegs and planchas: Bloomington-Normal’s pro wrestling promotion Iron Spirit hosts an outdoor, family-friendly set of matches in the parking lot at Station Saloon, with a cash bar for the grown-ups. 6:30 p.m. Saturday (7 p.m. bell); tickets $10-$15 at ironspiritpro.com.
A different sort of house tour: Curator Adam Farcus hosts Peoria artist Whitney Johnson’s “Three Handfuls of Pennies” in a tiny room in Farcus’ apartment. Seeing Johnson’s installation will last just a few moments, but sparks conversation that could go on for hours. Through Saturday at 116 W. Washington; free. Email leaseagreementgallery@gmail.com to make an appointment.
A farm dinner for Eversight: Illinois’ only eye bank hosts an evening at Epiphany Farms Estate raising funds for folks in the area in need of cornea transplants. I can’t think of a better way to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this gorgeous setting in its summer peak. 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Epiphany Farms Estate in Downs; tickets $100 at eversightvision.org.
