A McLean County teenager was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash between a passenger vehicle and semi-tractor near Ellsworth.
Eliza Levandoski, 16, of Arrowsmith, was driving the passenger car and died of multiple blunt head injuries suffered in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement Saturday, officials said deputies were dispatched to a crash at 2800 East and 1200 North east roads in Bloomington around 3:45 p.m. According to McLean County Sheriff Matt Lane, two other juveniles were in the passenger vehicle that collided with a semi truck containing one adult.
Surviving victims were transported to a nearby hospital.
The McLean County Accident Reconstruction Team and the McLean County Coroner's Office are investigating.
Investigators determined Levandoski was wearing a seat belt. A toxicology report is pending.
