Two men are in custody after Bloomington Police seized $27,000 in meth and other illegal prescription pills during a traffic stop in Carlock.
Arrested this week were Jeremy S. Cagle, 41, of Marquette Heights (near Peoria), and Charles R. Guilliams, 25, of Bloomington, police said. Cagle faces methamphetamine delivery charges. Guilliams is accused of possessing meth.
They were arrested after a BPD investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics. During the Carlock traffic stop, Bloomington Police's Vice Unit and Street Crimes Unit found 309 grams of meth (street value of $27,000), 36 Dextroamphetamine pills (without prescription), and evidence of drug distribution, police said.
Cagle and Guilliams were being held at the McLean County jail.
