Madonna Courtright is the first-ever Development Director for the HSCI.
  • Her responsibilities include building relationships, encourage volunteering, and developing donors. "It's all about connecting with people, " she said.
  • Future plans include expanding the facility, including installing a paved dog run.
  • The largest HSCI fundraiser of the year is the 6th Annual Dinner and auction on Saturday, May 14 at the Doubletree in Bloomington.
  • The Annual Humane Society  Garage Sale is in June.
  • The Humane Society is also collecting shoes as a fundraiser called Donate Your Soles. The shoe donations help give footwear to the less fortunate, plus raises funds for animals in need.  There are donation locations across the Twin Cities, including Gold's Gym, The Workout Company and Artful Designs.
