Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy will visit Bloomington-Normal in April as the featured guest at the American Red Cross Evening of Stars fundraiser.
Nagy will appear at the April 18 event at the Uptown Normal Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. He'll do a Q&A with broadcaster Dick Luedke.
Nagy, fresh off a first-year playoff run, was named Coach of the Year by the Pro Football Writers Association.
"Nagy is a celebrated accomplished coach passionate in his commitment to his family, team, and the entire Bear’s community made up of countless die-hard football fans that in many families has become a multi-generational legacy of support and commitment to his ball club,” said Kyle Ham, Evening of Stars co-chair along with his wife, Amanda. "We’re eager for the community to come together in the spirit of sport and sharing to support of the Red Cross mission while spending an unforgettable evening with one of the eminent sports leaders of our time."
The 2018 Evening of Stars featured Nagy's on-field rival, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. That event raised over $342,000—the most ever raised in one night for the event.

Individual tickets go on sale later in the month.
