Bloomington Man In Custody After Gas Station Robbery

Bloomington Police

A 34-year-old Bloomington man was arrested Thursday after allegedly robbing a gas station earlier in the day.

Tony C. Harold is being held on preliminary aggravated robbery and aggravated battery charges. He's accused of robbing the Circle K on South Main Street around 5:45 a.m. Thursday.

The suspect was spotted on surveillance cameras, and police released his photo and description midday Thursday. By early evening Harold was arrested.

During the robbery, the suspect implied he was armed and demanded money before fleeing north on foot, police said. No one was injured.
