Authorities have identified the 47-year-old Bloomington man killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend on Hamilton Road.

David L. Peterson was driving the motorcycle when it struck a light pole near State Farm Corporate South just after 1 p.m. Saturday, said McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder. Peterson died from his injuries. Toxicology testing is pending, Yoder said.

The coroner and Bloomington Police continue to investigate the crash.
