Bloomington Man ID'd in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder said it was a 45-year-old Bloomington man who died in a motorcycle crash in northeast Normal on Thursday.

The coroner said in a news release Joshua Rash died of multiple injuries after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a utility pole after it ran off of northbound Pipeline Road, north of Interstate 55 at about 1:40 p.m.

Rash was pronounced dead at about 2:30 p.m.

Yoder said the crash remains under investigation and toxicology tests are pending.

A stretch of Pipeline Road was closed for several hours Thursday afternoon as police investigated the crash.
