Bloomington Police have few details about suspects in a late night convenience store robbery.

Bloomington Police are investigating the third armed robbery in the city in the last three weeks and police don't know if there's a connection.
BPD said in a news release the two suspects who reportedly robbed at gunpoint the Casey's General Store on Gill Street shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday were wearing masks, hoods and gloves.

They reportedly displayed a pistol and demanded money from a store employee before they fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police offered no further description of the suspects.

No one was injured in the holdup.

This robbery comes on the heels of two recent armed robberies on April 29at Six Points Food and Liquor at 1001 Six Points Rd. and on April 18at the Subway restaurant on East Oakland Avenue.

Each robbery involved at least two male suspects.

Police ask anyone with information about any of the incidents to call detective Jared Roth at (309) 434-2379 or (309) 820-8888. They may also call McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309) 828-1111 if they wish to remain anonymous. Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
