Bradley University is taking additional measures as part of its COVID-19 response.

The university is ordering students living in residential halls to go home to their permanent residences by 4 p.m. Wednesday. This includes students with approval to remain on campus during spring break. Students unable to do so must go through an approval process by Wednesday at 1 p.m

Students can return to their dorms on Friday from 1-10 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Monday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. to retrieve items. Limited to-go dining services will be available at Williams Hall.

Students living in the student apartment complex, St. James, Main Street Commons and Greek housing must also return home unless they receive an individual waiver.

The university administration also suspended all domestic and international travel for faculty and staff until further notice. Bradley is now also suspending all travel card purchases and limiting procurement card purchases to only purchases deemed "truly essential" for university operations.

Procurement wil require advance approval through the university's purchase order process.

The university is also freezing hiring on open positions for now.

Last week, Bradley University extended spring break by one week and mandated online-only classes from March 30 through April 12.
