Bradley University Reports 2.5% COVID-19 Positivity Rate As First Week Wraps Up

Bradley University is reporting a COVID-19 positivity rate of just over 2.5% as the first week of class wraps up.

Bradley launched a COVID-19 dashboard on Friday. The university has conducted 349 COVID-19 tests, with nine people testing positive. An additional 38 people are isolating or quarantining. One test is pending.

The data only includes students and employees who are part of the campus surveillance testing regimen, as well as symptomatic students tested on campus.

The university is encouraging the campus community to continue getting tested, wear face coverings, socially distance, and avoid all large gatherings.

Bradley will update the data every Friday. Most students returned to class on Wednesday.

About 700 students opted for remote learning this semester. Roughly half of Bradley University's courses are offered online-only this semester.
