A teenager is dead after a fiery crash near Brimfield Wednesday night.
Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell said deputies responded to an accident on Route 150 at Thousand Dollar Road around 9:15 p.m. where they found a rolled-over vehicle fully engulfed in fire. Brimfield firefighters extinguished the blaze.
One person was in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The driver, 16-year-old Aaron Miller of Brimfield, was pronounced dead at the scene. Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said Miller likely died instantly of multiple blunt force trauma.
