McLEAN COUNTY PROPERTY TAX BILLS TO BE MAILED NEXT WEEK
Friday, May 8 5:30 p.m.

The McLean County Treasurer’s Office plans to mail the first installments of property tax bills on Monday, May 11, but taxpayers will have more time to pay them this year.

County Treasurer Rebecca McNeil pushed back the due dates two weeks from June 17 for the first installment and September 17 for the second installment due to the pandemic.

The county has also approved a 30-day grace period before charging late fees for the first installment.

Taxpayers can pay online, by mail, or in person at the McLean County Government Center lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first hour is designated for high risk populations.

McLean County taxpayers are being billed $351.9 million, that about a 1% increase over 2019.
