Coroner IDs 20-Year-Old Shooting Victim In Bloomington

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder has released the name of the Bloomington man who was shot and killed Monday afternoon in a west Bloomington neighborhood.

Yoder said Jaleel Johnson, 20, died from a gunshot wound to the head, based on a preliminary autopsy opinion.

Two other men, ages 22 and 27, were hospitalized in critical condition after the shooting that happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Iowa Street, about a block from Sunnyside Park.

Police haven't made any arrests or named any suspects in the case.
