McLean County's seven-day testing positivity rate is 1.9%. That's below the statewide and national averages.

Just three new cases of the coronavirus were reported Sunday in McLean County, as the testing positivity rate declined slightly.

There are now 117 active cases in McLean County. That includes one person hospitalized and 116 isolating at home, according to the McLean County Health Department.

The number of cases has more than doubled in the past month. Around 29% of McLean County's cases to date have been people in their 20s — the most for any age group.

The seven-day testing positivity rate is 1.9%. That's below the statewide and national averages.

Meanwhile, the McLean County Health Department is encouraging people to apply to become part-time contact tracers.

The department wants to hire between 20 and 30 part-time personnel who are funded by state contact tracing funds. Interviewing has begun and applications are still being accepted.

The drive-through testing site at Bloomington's Interstate Center remains busy. It's tested a record 613 people each day this week.

It's open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. No symptoms are needed.
