The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspected homicide in Cuba.
Sheriff Jeff Standard said deputies responded to a medical emergency at 922 E. Jackson St. just before 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Despite attempts at resuscitation, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Standard said the initial investigation led authorities to believe the woman was killed. A suspect was arrested and taken to Graham Hospital in Canton for an unrelated medical issue.
