UPDATED 2:23 p.m.
A 29-year-old man from Hudson was killed early Saturday morning in a three-vehicle crash on Pipeline Road in rural Hudson.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder in an email said preliminary autopsy reports show Andrew Dusek died from multiple blunt injuries after striking the other two vehicles after crossing the center lane. Yoder said Dusek was the sole occupant of his vehicle.
She said the crash occurred near 20487 North 1700 East Road (Pipeline Road), which is roughly 2.5 miles southeast of the village of Hudson and about two miles north of Veterans Parkway at the Interstate 55 interchange. She offered no information on the occupants of the two other vehicles involved in the crash.
Toxicology results are pending.
Yoder said she was notified of the crash around 1 a.m. and pronounced Dusek dead at 1:32 a.m.
Hudson Fire and EMS and McLean County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash, which remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the McLean County Sheriff’s Department.
