After more than a decade of discussion and false starts, Starbucks is coming to the Illinois State University campus.
The coffee shop opens Monday in the Student Fitness Center.
At one point, then President Al Bowman had promised a Starbucks in the Bone Student Center, but the deal fell through.
Campus Dining Services did a student survey last year and found there was still demand.
Starbucks will also serve bakery items and sell its merchandise in the lobby of the fitness center on University Street in Normal.
