Legislative Meeting Questions Remain, Like, "Where?"

Illinois reform groups are calling on Governor Bruce Rauner to release details about his upcoming meeting with the legislative leaders. Next Wednesday's gathering will be their first since the end of May. While each of the leaders have agreed to be there, Democratic House Speaker Michael Madigan said this week that the agenda hadn't been set.

Rauner's office had no comment when asked about plans for the meeting. And the coalition of groups that pushed for the meeting says it hasn't received a response from Rauner since it sent a follow-up letter on Tuesday. The organizers say if the meeting is to be effective, it's important it's taken seriously, and that an agenda is out in time for everyone to prepare. It's not even clear whether the meeting is to be in Chicago or Springfield.
