A house on Rt. 91 burns on Wednesday morning.

Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell said investigators believe a house just north of Peoria was intentionally set ablaze.

Firefighters from Peoria, Dunlap, Chillicothe, Brimfield, and Princeville-Akron responded to the house fire at 9619 N. Route 91 around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday morning. The Peoria Fire Department's Engine 20, which the Peoria City Council voted to decommission on Tuesday night, was first to the scene.

Asbell says 41-year-old Justin Haliburton was walking down the driveway when first responders arrived.

Upon investigating, deputies arrested Haliburton for residential arson. Nobody was hurt in the fire.

No damage estimate is available. The investigation is ongoing.
