A 23-year-old man told police he was shot Wednesday night in a road rage incident in far west Bloomington.

The incident allegedly happened on Alexander Road near Oakland Avenue in Bloomington, said McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage.

The man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. He was treated at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal after arriving around 10:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Vehicle and suspect information are being obtained, Sandage said. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (309) 888-5049.
