A man suffered a potentially life-threatening gunshot wound on the East Bluff Thursday afternoon.
The Peoria Fire Department responded to the 1200 block of E. Frye at 1:45 p.m. Emergency personnel were initially told there may be multiple victims, but only one injured person was found.
The man was speaking to Peoria firefighters as he was treated. He was transported to a Peoria hospital.
The Peoria Police Department is investigating.
