McLean County Reports Two COVID-19 Cases Sunday

The McLean County Health Department reported two new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Both are women, one in her 20s, the other in her 30s. People in their 20s continue to be the most impacted age group in McLean County.

The total confirmed case count in McLean County now stands at 204. Ten are known to have died after contracting the virus.

The Bloomington drive-thru testing site at the Interstate Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed on holidays.

Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 2,508 new confirmed cases on Sunday and 67 more deaths. The department has recorded a total of 110,304 cases, including 4,856 deaths, in 100 counties.

Laboratories reported 25,674 specimens tested from Saturday to Sunday for a total of 747,921. The statewide 7-day rolling positivity rate, from May 15 to May 21, is 12%.
