McLean County Sees Three More COVID-19 Cases; Two Recoveries

The McLean County Health Department announced three new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

McLean County health officials announced three more COVID-19 cases on Monday, while two more patients have recovered from the coronavirus.

The McLean County Health Department announced three new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

The McLean County Health Department reported the county has 253 confirmed cases of COVID-19, while nearly 90% have recovered. The county has 15 patients who are isolating at home. None are hospitalized and 13 residents have died.

The county hasn’t had a coronavirus-related hospitalization since June 8.

According to health department data, people in their 20s have been the most infected by the virus, with 60 cases. No other age group has more than 40.

Coronavirus testing continues for the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Interstate Center in Bloomington. The site saw 124 people get tested over the weekend, according to the McLean County Emergency Management Agency.

The community-based testing site has averaged 89 tests per day since Pekin-based Reditus took over May 23.
