The Bloomington Police Department says it can't prove who drove over grave markers and damaged them in connection with a Donald Trump rally. The department says it has declined to file charges in the case.
The department says this does not preclude following up new leads if anyone can identify specific individuals.
"The department is disappointed so many people were not more considerate of the Eastlawn Memorial Cemetery property," said Chief Brendan Heffner.
He said "it's deplorable some individuals treated the grounds of deceased loved ones with disrespect."
