A 20-year-old Pekin woman is dead after a two-vehicle accident on Springfield Road Tuesday.
The Tazewell County Sheriff's Office said they arrived to the scene, about a quarter mile north of Broadway, around 2:30 p.m.
Kaitlyn Guard was pronounced dead on the scene. The occupants of the second vehicle were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
