Peoria Fire Department Investigating String of Arson Incidents

The Peoria Fire Department is asking residents to keep an eye out for suspicious activity after several arson incidents this month.

Five fires this month are confirmed arson, and another two incidents are suspected arson. 

The fires are spread throughout the city's southern half. 

Division Chief Jim Bachman said some of the fires may be linked, but he can't say if all of the fires may be related. He was unsure how the fires were started.
