Peoria Man Arrested in Texas on Attempted Murder Charge

A Peoria man wanted in connection with a March shooting in Central Peoria is returning from Texas to stand trial.

Adrian Gregory, 29, was wanted in connection with a March 26 shooting in the 1100 block of W. Hanssler. A man was taken to the hospital with serious gunshot injuries.

Gregory was arrested in Arlington, Texas on April 15 by the U.S. Marshals. He was extradited back to the Peoria County Jail Tuesday.

He faces charges of attempted first degree murder and aggravated battery.
