A Peoria man is dead in the city's 17th homicide of 2019.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said Marshawn Tolliver, 38, of Peoria, was transported from a house in the 300 block of E. Maywood on August 6 with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in critical condition.
Harwood said Tolliver died Monday afternoon.
Breon Jones, 27, was arrested last week on attempted murder charges in connection with the case.
An autopsy will be scheduled.
