The drugs seized in Friday's seizure.

Ruban T. Watson faces several drug charges, including manufacturing/delivery and possession of cocaine and cannabis. His arrest came as Bloomington Police served a search warrant Friday in the 2300 block of 25th Street, in the Cardinal Ridge mobile home park. That search turned up 24 grams of crack cocaine (street value $2,880), the 13 pounds of cannabis butter (valued at $116,720), around $3,040 in cash, prescription medications, and evidence of drug distribution, police said.

So what is cannabis butter?

It's used "in place of regular butter when cooking to produce the same/similar psychoactive effects as when smoked," said Bloomington Police spokesperson Elias Mendiola. "It depends on levels of THC used when infused with the butter."

Watson was being held at the McLean County jail pending formal charges, police said.
