The Town of Normal is cancelling its annual Pooch Parade and Pet Fair because of disease. Town staff say threats of dog flu led to the cancelation of the event May 21st. Aside from the potential health threat to pets, participation was threatened. The mission of the pooch parade is to promote pet adoption.
