The Peoria Police Department is investigating a robbery at the CEFCU in downtown Peoria.
Police said a man entered 221 Fulton at 2:10 p.m. Friday, handed the teller a note, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black man, 6'4', 190-200 pounds, with a medium complexion, hair worn in long dreads, and under age 30. He was wearing a dark beanie, black pants, a black jacket wiht a small gold logo on the front and a black shirt underneath, a gray backpack, and white shoes.
No one was injured in the reported robbery. Police are asking for anyone with information, including business or residential camera footage, to call police at (309) 673-4521 or CrimeStoppeers anonymously at (309) 673-9000.
