Southern Illinois Woman ID'd In Fatal McLean Co. Crash

A Steeleville woman died in a crash near Bellflower on Sunday.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder said a Southern Illinois woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Bellflower on Sunday night.
Yoder issued a news release on Monday indicating the crash killed Jessica Hostert, 31, of Steeleville. Yoder said Hostert was the sole occupant of a car that collided with the SUV near 4000 East 200 North Road (U.S. 136), about 30 miles southeast of Bloomington-Normal.

Hostert was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m.

Yoder said toxicology tests are pending and the incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
