An 18-year-old Peoria man was found guilty Thursday in the 2018 murders of two people at a party near the Bradley University campus.

Jermontay Brock was convicted by a Peoria County jury in the April 2018 shooting deaths of Nasjay Murry, 18, a Bradley pre-med student, and 22-year-old Anthony Polnitz, at an off-campus house party on Bradley Avenue.

Brock was 16 at the time of the shootings.

His trial was delayed a month in July after a COVID-19 outbreak was reported at the Peoria County Jail. He's scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 14.
