Updated Saturday, March 7, 8:50 A.M.: WCBU, WCBU HD-2, and the Radio Information Service are broadcasting at reduced power as installation of WTVP's new antenna continues. WCBU's antenna is located on WTVP's tower, meaning work there can impact WCBU's broadcast signal.

WCBU's transmitter was briefly powered down for worker safety earlier today before the tower crew determined conditions were too windy for work to continue. The project is at a stage that will require WCBU to be off the air for several hours when conditions improve enough to allow work to proceed. Please check WCBU's social media channels and this website for the latest information.

WCBU’s transmitter has been operating at low power because of this project for several weeks.  The installation of WTVP's new antenna is part of the FCC-mandated "repack" of the television broadcast spectrum. More information is available at WTVP.org.

WCBU's online streams are not affected by this work. Please go to WCBU.org and click on the “Listen Live” button at the top of the home page, just below the WCBU logo, to hear the online stream. The drop down caret, enables you to switch between the main, classical, and Highway 309 online streams.

WCBU's signal will return to full power when installation of WTVP's new antenna and transmitter is complete.
