Trainer Tour Makes Stop At State Fair

Meghan Trainor is bringing her summer tour to the Illinois State Fair.The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will perform Aug. 13 on the grandstand. Her 2014 hit "All About That Bass" launched the singer's career. Trainor's new album, "Thank You," will be released May 13. The album's hit single, "No," has already peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Her summer "Untouchable Tour" will include another stop in Illinois, on Aug. 10, at the Rosemont Theatre outside Chicago. Trainor said last month that her voice is "amazing" after surgery last year for a vocal cord hemorrhage. She also said winning the Grammy for best new artist earlier this year was the best day of her life.
