Update: Trump Stumps In Bloomington

The front runner for the GOP presidential nomination touched on familiar themes at a rally at the Central Illinois Regional Airport (CIRA) in Bloomington. Protesters also had a presence outside the rally and interrupted Trump inside the hangar.

"When was the last time you saw a little sign that said 'made in the USA?'" asked Trump. "We want products made in the USA."

At the Synergy Flight Center hangar, Trump talked about 'bad trade deals,' building a wall along the U.S. southern border, protecting the 2nd amendment to the Constitution, and repealing and replacing Obamacare. He also spent time talking about the protests that have interrupted many of his rallies.

"Get him out. Get him out," Trump said, as protestors were ejected multiple times.

Protesters continued a rally outside the hanger at CIRA in the rain with signs that said "Dump Trump," "Love Trumps Hate," and "Your Hair is About as Bad as your Racism."

The rally inside the hangar wrapped up just before noon.  The protests, outside the rain, broke up shortly before the Trump rally.

This story will be updated.

Several hundred people have been told there's no more room inside the Synergy Flight Center hangar to join the Donald Trump rally at the Central Illinois Regional Airport. Inside as many as 1,500 to 2,000 people are packed in awaiting the arrival of the GOP front runner.

GLT's Willis Kern reports that the crowed is peaceful so far, although there has been some pre-rally commotion between protestors and supporters.

GOP front runner Donald Trump is heading to Bloomington. With the Illinois Primary on Tuesday, Presidential candidates and their representatives are heading to the Land of Lincoln. Trump is reportedly planning an event at the Central Illinois Regional Airport on Sunday morning. Trump will be at Synergy Flight Center at 10 a.m. The doors open at 7 a.m. The blog 4president also hosts a link for registration and free tickets.

Trump supporters have also been lining up all day today to get into his late afternoon rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The Republican presidential candidate is appearing at an arena with room for about 10,000 people. Activists and some local politicians, including Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez, are planning demonstrations outside the hall.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is off the campaign trail, attending Nancy Reagan's funeral in California. Former President Bill Clinton is headlining a get-out-the vote rally for his wife in Peoria. And Democratic rival Bernie Sanders will campaign in the Chicago suburb of Summit tonight before he holds a rally Saturday the University of Illinois.
