Small businesses within the city are eligble for grants of up to $5,000 to see them through the COVID-19 closures if they have fewer than 50 W-2 employees. Self-employed people or businesses without W-2 employees can receive up to $2,000.
The city is using $1 million worth of Community Block Grant Development funds for the first wave of grants.
Applications should be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. The first grants will begin going out May 1. For more information on how to apply or for additional information on the criteria to qualify for a grant, click here.
