Authorities released the name of a second man killed Sept. 19 in a fiery crash that shut down Interstate 39.

Mladen Petrovic, 32, of Brookfield was "scientifically identified" as one of three people killed in the head-on crash between two semitrailer trucks, McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said Friday. Last week Davis identified Guy Favorite IV, 43, from Missouri as another one of the victims. The third person has not yet been named.

"Investigation and scientific identification of the remaining decedent remains ongoing at this time," Davis said in a statement. "The McLean County coroner’s office is working diligently on this matter and will release more information when it is available."

The crash happened on I-39 at mile marker 4 near Hudson. Reports indicate a northbound semitrailer truck crossed the median and struck another truck head on.
