The Illinois State men's basketball team gave fans a thrill in its last home game of the season, beating Drake in overtime Wednesday night at Redbird Arena.
ISU's Milik Yarbrough and Phil Fayne each had double-doubles, while Keyshawn Evans scored 23 points with six assists. It was ISU's fifth overtime of the season, and the Redbirds are 4-1 in those games.
Illinois State next plays Loyola on Saturday, Feb. 24, in Chicago. Loyola has clinched sole possession of the MVC regular season title with a win over Southern Illinois.
